im working at a store called lush
its a green cosmetic store
green meaning that they use organic ingredients and only if they have very little synthetics which are all food grade. it also means they dont buy any product from companies that test on animals. they regularly check the companis that they do business with and that if they do any animal testing, they will stop their contract.

they have alot of stuff that fits almost every need. they even give out samples to both customer and employees. sadly i have tried any because i live in a apartment with 10 people ( 4 sisters, 3 brothers mom and dad ) and so they grab the samples i bring home and are never to be seen again. i brought some yesterday and hide them. hopefully ill be able to try them out.

its seem like balancing my two jobs wont be too hard until December comes around. and if lush keeps me im dumping my old job

my first and only job up till now was working at a Dollar Tree store. my store is small so usually there are only two people there working. the manager and a employee. i usually work 4 hours rarely 9 like i did once a week for $7.35 an hour (lush is paying me 9 sooo much better) im have to work on the register, help customers, put out merchandise,and can clean the store. most of the time im left alone to take care of the store and the customers. for what every reason they been make more strict rules. you have to punch in and out at the exact time you are suppose to work, if you clocking 5 or even 2 minutes early will be written up or terminated. same goes for breaks and lunches. theres more than but that one just bugs me. the only thing that kept me at this store for 4 years ( yes i worked there for 4 years) i get along well the my co-workers and my managers. if not i would have out of there a long ass time ago.
